As I've recently discovered this myself, through the Movie Geek and TV Geek books from Den of Geek, I'd thought it's worthwhile mentioning here. From their UK site, good weekly article about geeks battling depression, suicide, loneliness, loss of loved ones, recovering from loss of pets and just trying to fit into a geek world amongst normal folks. The people aren't professional counsellers - you still will need to go to them yourselves or even a good friend - but it's simply good to know that You Are Not Alone in battling these emotions. There's about 150+ topics. Newest is first. I'm guessing there's online content as well through FB and Twitter that can also help.
